Week of December 15, 2025 - Small World Seafood Update

Hello everybody!!

Well, we may be freezing our nips off but at least it's sunny. You have to rationalize any way you can to justify why we would decide to live in such infernal weather..Brrrrr...

First off, this is a week where we also do a Saturday morning stop in Queen Village so you will see a choice to select location days when you get onto the order form on Thursday.

So, we will be doing our regular run this week as usual. Next week, the week of Christmas, we will be doing our run on Tuesday December 23rd with the order form going out the day before on Monday the 22nd. There will be no pick ups on Christmas day. Obviously....Also, keep in mind that we will do the same thing the following week since New Years Day is also on a Thursday....Again, this week is a normal week...

Well, nothing REALLY is normal with us, yeah? Always fun stuff from week to week. This week is no different. So how about we finish off the year with another round of fresh, sushi grade yellowfin tuna?!? 2025 was a great year for tuna so it is apt that we get one shot. This time, the tuna is coming from Australia where they really know how to take care of the fish. Remember, the Pacific Rim is maniacal about fresh tuna and quality. So we are excited to get a rare shot of it over here!

Also, fresh Faroe Island salmon is back!!! We will have it this week as well as next week before Christmas. FYI...Sushi grade and definitely best in class...

We have a couple of fun things such as Boston mackerel fillets which many of you are discovering that you really love! Awesome. Great fish. Also, the first shot of local herring has hit the docks and we've filleted them too and vac packed them!

We have more smelts, more Portuguese sardines, more cod cheeks, more whole daurades....We have Chilean Sebass fillets as well as Black Cod fillets for your holiday tables...

Also, some of you have requested shucked oysters in pints to make Christmas soups and stews..You got it...

Lobster tails from South Africa are the best of the best....Sushi grade rock shrimp...Butterflied branzini and Rainbow trout...More hamachi loins and kamas...

More smoked albacore tuna spread. More Osetra caviar, more foie gras slices...More Lobster ravioli and smoked bacon and cheddar sausage from El Camino....

We have so many of the things that make you happy, satisfied and proud to prepare...The hard part isn't finding 7 fishes. It is limiting it to just seven. But in case you are still short one and can't figure out what to do, I have two words for you. Shrimp Shumai....

Lots of stuff, folks...

As always, I am still keeping my eyes peeled for something else coming our way. You never know..

You see how much fun we can have? I feel it too...

PEI mussels are the shellfish of the week....Pair with Settentatre Pasta Co's organic fresh spinach linguini for cheapest meal ever!!  Not sure about oysters yet ... We have labneh and smoked fish..So many good things..

Plenty of crab meat, shrimp, etc....

I know, I know..Lots of words...

Anyway, as usual, I have to thank all of you guys for being in our lives. What an incredible community we live in...
