Week of December 8, 2025 - Chestnut Hill Farmers Market Order Form

Hello everybody!!

Can you feel life speeding up? It's always like that at the end of the year. Barreling towards New Year's is an annual event. Holiday parties, family gatherings, winter breaks, ski or beach vacays coming and work to wrap up for the year. It can be quite stressful for many people. Even for us. We are super busy right now and pushing things to the limit. One thing to keep in mind is to appreciate the moments as well as the speed. Stress can easily be converted into excitement with the right frame of mind..

FYI, our next market day with you all is December 27th between Christmas and New Year's Eve!!!

Anyway, let's roll into the goodies for the week. With nasty weather in the North Atlantic, there will be no fresh Faroe Island salmon this week. We do have blast frozen though. But, subbing in for a guest starring appearance will be fresh Steelhead trout fillets from Norway! This has become a favorite of so many of you. And for good reason. Mild, creamy, fatty, sushi grade and is prepared exactly the same you would with salmon. Great stuff...

Lots of really fun stuff to load up on! If you haven't started gathering for your 7 Fishes, don't wait. This is a good time to accumulate and finish off with your fresh fish and live shellfish.

We have smelts. We have Rainbow trout butterflied and branzini the same way. We have whole daurades scaled and gutted. We have Black Cod fillets as well as Chilean Seabass fillets. We have head on shrimp and sushi grade wild rock shrimp. We have Spanish mackerel fillets and Hokkaido scallops. We have tons of smoked fish to have fun with. Also, Portuguese sardines and barbounis (red mullets/rouget). Heck, we even have the first shot of local herring fillets from fish out of Maine!

We have hamachi loins for sushi and crudo platters as well as the kamas (collars) for roasting up and enjoying..Lobster tails as well from South Africa. The best of the best!

We have smoked albacore tuna spread back on the list this week. And a ton of smoked and marinated fish!

.And Osetra caviar is back in stock...Man, the hard part isn't getting to seven. It's keeping it down to seven, right?

So many other things to play with as well!

All that I am saying is there are lots of things to have fun with, people! That's what it's about!! The pleasure of eating the food we make. And sharing it with others. Nothing better than that...

PEI mussels and litttleneck clams are the shellfish of the week. And with your favorite pasta? Best cheap meal ever! Love Shucks are the oysters this week from Maine. Nice and plump.

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
