Week of November 3, 2025 - Queen Village/Moore Brothers Order Form

Hello everybody!!

Lots of new people signed up for this list and we are thrilled! Welcome to the fam, everyone! One quick note about the order form you will click on further down in the email for those newbies. You will get an option to select either Fitler/Ritt/Wash with is the Center City run on Friday or Queen Village/Moore Brothers Pennsauken which is the Saturday run I assume you will want to select. Toggle that one. You don't have to specify if you want to pick up in Queen Village or Moore Brothers. We go to both with everything so it's really your choice and we don't care either way.

So, I hear a lot of people talking about how they know it's nice outside and all. And very fall like. But, they follow that with a comment about how they are dreading the coming cold of winter. Pause, people. Enjoy the present. The future hasn't happened yet. No need to have that penetrate your mind...until that becomes the present...

Speaking of present, let's talk about what we have going on this week!! First up, weather up in the North Atlantic around the Faroe Islands has been treacherous so no fresh salmon this week. We do have plenty of blast frozen so no fretting there.

In its place, we have a favorite of many of you, fresh Steelhead trout from Norway! This is very similar in salmon in size and even in color although it is deeper in orange. Like a mandarin orange. It is fatty, mild tasting like trout and is also sushi grade. It cooks up exactly the same as salmon so use whatever technique you like most!

We also have a nice shot of beautiful Chilean seabass fillets! Ranging from 1-1.8lb each, this fish is certainly prized in every top notch resto for its elegance and delicate flavor. If you are starting to plan out for Thanksgiving dinner, this is a gorgeous center of the table item right next to your turkey...Just saying...

We have delish cod cheeks on the menu this week! Seriously. Who offers you fun stuff like this around here? Yup. No one. Direct from Iceland, these little gems are just terrific to pan sear or pop into a fish stew or soup.

A quick note about branzini. We managed to make a nice deal with our supplier to lock in a good price for a little while. So, price for two fish goes down from $26 to $24! Hey, we are on your side. Your seafood advocate of sorts..

We have butterflied Rainbow trout this week too! Another winner in your freezer for a weekday meal to blow away takeout..We have Hokkaido scallops fresh or blast frozen. Both sushi grade. Black cod fillets, head on shrimp and a million other goodies.

As a special item, and in very limited quantity, we have bottarga this week. This is the Sicilian salt cured grey mullet roe sac that is used very much like truffles. In fact, it is nicknamed the truffle of the sea. A few shaves of it over pasta goes a long way. It ain't cheap but neither are truffles. Let's see how it goes..

Plus, terrific cultured butter and a bunch of other really fun things to play with!

So have at it!!!

Littleneck clams are the shellfish of the week. And with organic fresh spinach linguini from Settantatre Pasta Co? Best cheap meal ever! Birch Points are the oysters this week from Maine . Nice and plump.

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...You'll never need to leave the house...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp, crab meat, and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...Coddy Canes are back too..

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
