Week of September 7, 2026 - Fairmount/444 N 4th Order Form

Hello everybody!!

Thank God summer's over! That was a hot one! Okay, we will still have a few more hot days but in my mind, it's over with a few more weeks left over to get over it. Yeah. I know a lot of people are preparing to feast this weekend with Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year. If you are celebrating and we won't see you, have a sweet, healthy and loving new year!

So, let's celebrate the fall with some halibut, yeah? Fresh halibut fillet is back for only the second time this year! Straight from Nova Scotia, well, one of the favorites of so many of you. Take advantage! No more to say about this one. Actually, one more thing. Check out the recipe on our site on how to prepare it resto style. Pan sear and finish in the oven. Rock star stuff and super easy...

Also from Nova Scotia, more fresh claw and knuckle lobster meat! Look, there is the small part of that will mourn the passing of summer and I like to drown my tears with a nice lobster roll...that's just me..

We have Boston mackerel fillets, Cod cheeks, whole daurades..

Tons of Faroe Island salmon by Hiddenfjord. The best of the best. A whole side for your Holiday table? Yeah. Big flex for sure. Sushi grade as well...

Plus, frozen gefilte fish logs from Raskins in Brooklyn. Bake or poach. Instructions are on the pack..

Branzini, rainbow trout butterflied, Portuguese sardines, shrimp, crab meat...hamachi loins to slice up for a large group...collars for the grill...so many fun things to play with!!

Smoked albacore tuna spread is back in the mix!! Great stuff for your bagels but also terrific on a cracker for a little apero.

Also, on the smoked fish front, a new item to try out. Whole smoked whiting! Not as fatty or oily as lake fish, this salt water fish from North Carolina is dynamite smoked. You get three fish totalling appoximately a pound. Fun to pick at and eat. The meat falls right off the bone...Have at it!

Tons of stuff, really. Everything to make your dreams come true...

We have PEI mussels this week. Great thing to add to Settantatre Pasta Co fresh spinach pasta. Best cheap meal ever!!.Also, Katama Signatures are the oysters this week from Martha's VIneyard. Nice and big...good stuff..and briny..

So have at it!!!

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...You'll never need to leave the house...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp, crab meat, and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...Coddy Canes are back too..

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...
