Week of July 27, 2026 - Fairmount/444 N 4th Order Form

Hello everybody!!

Time is flying..August 1st this weekend..2026 is on meth or something..slow down!!!! Ugh...

Well, one way to slow down is to cook up a nice dinner with friends and family. That turns off the movement of time for a bit. This past Sunday, I went tubing down the Delaware. Four hours of no devices, no real world, just family and nature. You realize how hard it is to disconnect in the first twenty minutes when it feels boring and then you talk and laugh and giggle and act silly and you realize that those four hours of nothingness is the the most real thing you did all week. Sitting down for dinner does the same thing.

So, yellowfin tuna this week, once again!! So happy to see the East Coast stocks replenished to such a level. It has been a few years of small harvests and this year has been spectacular. Great news for the biomass and its ecosystem..Plus, it tastes sooo good!! lay some out diced out for poke bowls along with our sushi grade salmon and scallops for a tricolor make your own poke fest!!!

Also on the menu is more fresh claw and knuckle lobster meat! Another fishery that has recovered from the abysmal year we had last year. Lobster rolls for everyone!!!

We have more Icelandic cod cheeks this week! Tasty little discs to dredge and pan sear!!

We have a nice shot of Portuguese sardines and barbouni ( aka red mullet or rouget). More monchong (pomfret) fillets! 

Branzini, rainbow trout, chilean seabass, black cod, hamachi loins and collars, a variety of shrimp. On the crab meat front, we have lump as well as claw meat. No essential blend this week..

More fish meatballs in creamy pesto sauce, too!! Also more shrimp and crab canneloni!

Tons of stuff, really. Everything to make your dreams come true...

We have PEI mussels this week. Great thing to add to Settantatre Pasta Co fresh spinach linguini. Best cheap meal ever!!.Also, Belle Du Jours are the oysters this week from PEI. Nice and big...good stuff..and briny..

So have at it!!!

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...You'll never need to leave the house...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp, crab meat, and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...Coddy Canes are back too..

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...
