Week of April 27, 2026 - Fairmount/444 N 4th Order Form

Hello everybody!!

Here it is!! We had a hard winter and it's difficult to see that summer is coming. We don't trust the weather right now what with all the ups and downs. But you just have to look at the selection the past couple of weeks to see that we are definitely moving in that direction!

And especially this week. I mean, soft shells and swordfish!!!

So, this is an super early run for soft shells whose season typical runs from Mother's Day to Memorial day at its peak. But I am not going to say anything to those little critters. Early is fine by me! We will be cleaning the Jumbo softies for you so they will be ready to cook up. Remember, you have a couple of days to cook them up. Don't sit on them. They can turn pretty quickly. Fragile things, they are. They do freeze super well so you can do that too. I feel like I am using the word super a lot, no?

Next up is some really gorgeous swordfish fillet!! It's been a while since we've had sword around and compared to soft shells, this one is coming to us later in the year than normal. We are happy to see it come to us anyway so i am not complaining. Fire your grills up!!!

We also have more cooked baby shrimp out of Canada! A great item to use to make shrimp salads or toasts. A North Atlantic staple loved not only in Canada but all of Scandinavia as well!

We also have a nice shot of Boston mackerel fillets. Great for the stomach, great for the brain...

And after a long hiatus, hot smoked kippered salmon is back! Using our Hiddenfjord Faroe Island salmon, Owen from El Camino makes one killer kippered salmon..great stuff..

And, of course we have Faroe Island salmon this week as well as Hokkaido scallops.

We have butterflied rainbow trout and butterflied branzini which always makes for a sure meal. Check out my video on grilling branzino. It works for both. Also, a few of you have been asking about whole branzino so we have some for you this week. Scaled and gutted, of course...

We have Chilean seabass, Black cod...dang...so many items to play with!!

Tons of stuff, really. Everything to make your dreams come true...

We have PEI mussels this week. Great thing to add to Settantatre Pasta Co fresh spinach linguini. Best cheap meal ever!!.Also, Loving Cups are the oysters this week from Virginia...good stuff..and briny..

So have at it!!!

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...You'll never need to leave the house...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp, crab meat, and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...Coddy Canes are back too..

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
