Week of April 13, 2026 - Fairmount/444 N 4th Order Form
Hello everybody!!
Well, it's a good time for a run or a bike ride or simply a walk out there. My, my. How beautiful is the city right now with all the colors of blooms in the trees and the green of it getting more pronounced every day. Puts a huge smile on my face...right before I sneeze my face off...
Anyway, nothing a few great seafood items can't fix. For the first time in a little while, yellowfin tuna is back in the fold! Sushi grade, of course, and the timing couldn't be better on a hot week. Poke bowls are so satisfying and so refreshing, no?
Also, from the docks or Rhode Island, some really beautful monkish fillet that we blast froze this week. I love this fish for it's meaty texture similar to lobster tails. It has a similar flavor, actually. Called the 'poor man's lobster' for that reason. Now, to cook it up, you can roast it whole, pan sear it, grill it, wrap it in proscuitto, so many things. You can also, slice it into medallions, dredge and pan sear for some crispy nugget discs. Or check out that monkfish curry recipe on our site. Amazing...
Besides sushi grade tuna, we also have sushi grade salmon!!! And sushi grade Hokkaido scallops! And sushi grade hamachi loin!! Boy, you could really have quite the poke spread if you wanted to...
We haave butterflied rainbow trout and butterflied branzini which always makes for a sure meal. Check out my video on grilling branzino. It works for both. Also, a few of you have been asking about whole branzino so we have some for you this week. Scaled and gutted, of course...
Shrimp and crab canneloni are back in the mix. We still have a few hot dogs left. As well as frozen lava cakes you can bake up at home. Grab them while you can. We won't see any more til after the summer probably..So many fun things...
Tons of stuff, really. Everything to make your dreams come true...
We have PEI mussels this week. Great thing to add to Settantatre Pasta Co fresh spinach linguini. Best cheap meal ever!!.Also, Marionport oysters are the oysters this week from Massachusetts..... A bigger oyster than we usually get averaging around 3.5 inches wide..good stuff..and briny..
So have at it!!!
See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...You'll never need to leave the house...
And don't forget your frozen shrimp, crab meat, and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...Coddy Canes are back too..
I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...
