Week of October 26, 2026 - Fairmount/444 N 4th Order Form

Hello everybody!!

Halloween this Saturday with decent weather? I hope all of your nightmares come true!!! Bwaaaahaaahaaahaaa!!! Okay. Not really. It's all about the fun and the frolicking and the costumes and not taking ourselves too seriously. Fun is something we need in our lives. Don't you think?

So how about some fun with food too, yeah? First up is a crowd favorite at the top of many's list of favorites. Fresh halibut! Straight from the cold waters of Nova Scotia, this may be the last time we see it this year although I wouldn't be surprised by one more push before the season ends in mid November. But I wouldn't be surprised if this was it. So, 50/50. Roll the dice if you want.

At the same time, some areas up in Nova Scotia opened up for a mini season of lobster. So fresh claw and knuckle meat!! Just in time for a party weekend! Lobster rolls, salads, pastas. It's been over a month since we've had it and I can feel a few of you itching and scratching with withdrawal...

No fresh Faroe Island salmon this week. Storms around here from a week and half ago become their high winds a rough seas now. Directly in the path of the Gulf Stream so in many ways, really connected to us.

But, in its stead, we will have a visit from cousin Steelhead trout! A ton of you have been asking about it. Here it is! Straight from Norway, it is a variety of salmon (actually, salmon is a variety in the trout family to be correct), that looks like salmon but has the mild taste of trout. Plus, it is fattier so it has such a creamy texture and flavor. Especially raw. Yup. It is sushi grade! But cook it up and see how delish it is too! Amazing..

We have Boston mackerel fillet, rainbow trout and branzini butterflied. Whole daurades scaled and gutted. Black cod fillets.

Hamachi loins for your party tables. Hamachi crudo is super simple. Slice thin and lay out on a platter. Slice up some jalapenos to top them off. Sprinkle some of our ponzu sauce over the whole thing. Maybe add some tobikko too. Voila!!!

But shrimp cocktails, shucked oysters, mini crab cakes, shumai, Chilean seabass sliders..all great party trays you can wow your friends with and look like a culinary stud!

Hot smoked Faroe Island salmon (kippered) from our friends at El Camino is back! Jump on it!!

Pasta this week will be fresh bucatini for a little change. Wagyu ground beef is back in the mix.

Tons of stuff, really. Everything to make your dreams come true...

We have littleneck clams this week. Great thing to add to Settantatre Pasta Co fresh bucatini. Best cheap meal ever!!.Also, Mayflower Points oysters this week from Massachussetts. Nice and big...good stuff..and briny..

So have at it!!!

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...You'll never need to leave the house...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp, crab meat, and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...Coddy Canes are back too..

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
