Week of September 14, 2026 - Chestnut Hill Farmers Market Order Form

Hello everybody!!

Loving these cool nights! Pretty nice to feel a little chill in the air! Just a heads up that we want to hire someone to join our fun little staff. It is a very physical job that requires picking up and moving heavy boxes. Fun stuff though. Email us a resume or let someone know who is looking for something. We like to keep things in the fam here..

Okay! Tuna this week! yellowfin from Canada! The fall is a great time for fishing up there for the big fish. We like to jump on it when we can, yeah? I mean, who will say no to sushi grade tuna? Exactly...

More Greenland turbot fillets from up yonder as well! We will hopefully see a nice steady stream of it for a little while. And with halibut coming to us infrequently, that's a great substitute. It's northern cousin with a velvety texture. Amazing stuff..

Let's not forget about fresh claw and knuckle lobster meat, okay? It has been quite the summer for it and it has been outstanding in flavor. By the end of the month, it may not be around for a bit so this is the time to shove your face with it..trust me..

Our essential blend (whole crab) crab meat is back! Many of you have seen the crazy prices for crab meat in stores. It's insane. Well, one way to mitigate the cost from a supplier side of things is to blend all the parts in one can. Layered actually. You get the claw meat, the special, the lump and the jumbo lump. There is no better value on the market right now that this to make crab cakes or a dip or a pasta dish, etc..

Boston mackerel fillets are in the house!!

We have Faroe Island salmon and Hokkaido scallops! Both sushi grade and both wondeful to add to the tuna as a make your own poke bowl night! Oh, the colors...

Branzini, rainbow trout butterflied, Portuguese sardines, shrimp, crab meat...hamachi loins to slice up for a large group...collars for the grill...so many fun things to play with!!

Smoked albacore tuna spread is back in the mix!! Great stuff for your bagels for the break fast for Yom Kippur but also terrific on a cracker for a little apero.

Also, on the smoked fish front, a new item to try out. Whole smoked whiting! Not as fatty or oily as lake fish, this salt water fish from North Carolina is dynamite smoked. You get three fish totalling appoximately a pound. Fun to pick at and eat. The meat falls right off the bone...Have at it!

Tons of stuff, really. Everything to make your dreams come true...

We have PEI mussels and littleneck clams this week. Great thing to add to your favorite fresh pasta. Best cheap meal ever!!.Also, Caribous are the oysters this week from Nova Scotia. nice and big...good stuff..and briny..

All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
