Week of July 20, 2026 - Chestnut Hill Farmers Market Order Form
Hello everybody!!
Skies are getting back to normal finally. Not that anything else is normal, right? Everybody's crazy except for all of us. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Okay! Tuna, baby, tuna! Small local bigeyes are in the house! Sushi grade and just really pretty fish. This is one of those bumper years that don't come very often. I'm not complaining..
And more cooked claw and knuckle lobster meat! Who can live without this anymore? It's like being in Maine.....but cheaper....
One nice item that we see once a year or so is coming from Australia and we are super happy to see it. It is a fish they call Monchong out there but is also known in India as Pomfret. It is a nice firm fillet that is typically used in stews and curries and is really flavorful that way. We are selling it by 14-16oz blast frozen portions. If you are into something different, this is it this week!
Also, got some more Portuguese sardines and barbounis back in stock!!!
No more lump but I did bring in some claw meat. This is just the meat part of the claw. It has a reddish color instead of the whitish color but it is inexpensive and if you are making crab cakes, it's flavor bomb. Little known fact. Claw meat has always been used for 'Imperial' preps in restos. Flounder Imperial, stuffed shrimp, mushroom caps. It has a nice sweetness to it..Plus, don't forget that the essential bland has the whole crab parts in it. From claw to Jumbo lump. Good stuff too!!
And, of course, fresh and frozen sushi grade Faroe Island salmon and Hokkaido scallops. I can never decide if I prefer them cooked or raw. Both then. So good...
Branzini, rainbow trout, chilean seabass, black cod, hamachi loins and collars, a variety of shrimp. So much good stuff to stock back up with!!!
More fish meatballs in creamy pesto sauce, too!! Also more shrimp and crab canneloni!
Tons of stuff, really. Everything to make your dreams come true...
We have PEI mussels and littleneck clams this week. Great thing to add to your favorite fresh pasta. Best cheap meal ever!!.Also, Patriot oysters are the oysters this week from Massachusetts. nice and big...good stuff..and briny..
All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...
And don't forget your frozen shrimp and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...
I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...
Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
