Week of June 1, 2026 - Chestnut Hill Farmers Market Order Form

Hello everybody!!

Well, I am fully aware that there is a bit of a fomo thing with reading these emails. Many of you have freezers full of fish and don't plan on getting anything but you just have to take a peek. In case something comes in that you absolutely have to have and then all bets are off. And you know you have to do this because if you don't read the emails and only find out later that you missed out on one of your faves, well, fists will be flying toward the skies cursing the angels up above...but you'll only have yourself to blame and you know it. This is that kind of week.....

Got a call yesterday from the boys down in South Jersey that the shed is on! One more time for soft shell crabs!!!! We had a beautiful hit at the end of April from North Carolina. This week is New Jersey, babeeee!! So, take advantage. Don't sleep on it. Don't expect any next week of the week after. This could be it and that's it. Seize the moment. Carpe Diem! We clean them for you so they are ready to cook up. Remember, they are sensitive little things so you want to cook them within two days. Or freeze them for the future. They freeze really well.

But wait. There's more! Fresh sushi grade yellowfin tuna from Canada!!! The first run of the year for these pristine fish coming from the cold, clean waters of the north. I don't have to tell what to do with it, at this point. Have at it!

It's going to be a nice hot weekend and feel a little summer-y around here. A good time for lobster rolls, don't you think? More fresh cooked claw and knuckle lobster meat for everyone!!!! And maybe some El Camino hot dogs along side for the best surf and turf summer fare I know..

More Spanish mackerel, more Icelandic cod cheeks..A nice shot of whole daurades scaled and gutted..

We have Faroe Island salmon and Hokkaido scallops. Both sushi grade. Branzini, rainbow trout, Black cod and Chilean seabass fillets and a kazillion more things!!

Fish meatballs in creamy pesto sauce are back!

Tons of stuff, really. Everything to make your dreams come true...

We have littleneck clams and PEI mussels this week. Great thing to add to your favorite pasta. Best cheap meal ever!!.Also, Beaver Tails are the oysters this week from Rhode Island. Nice big ones..good stuff..

All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
