Week of February 9, 2026 - Chestnut Hill Farmers Market Order Form
Hello everybody!!
Please remember that we begin winter hours for the market. 10a til noon....
What a week!! The weather is breaking! Valentines Day this weekend! Pitchers and catchers reporting to Clearwater! And here comes the Year of the Fire Horse!!!! Honestly, after being cooped up for two weeks, I am ready to explode! We need good reasons to let off some steam, yeah?
Okay! let's roll into it! First up is one of the most elegant fish around. Greenland turbot! these fillets are bone white and will just melt in your mouth! The more northern cousin of halibut, it has the fattiness to turn this flat fish into one delicate and creamy dish. This isn't paper plate stuff..This is sit up straight and eat with your best china...
Next up is fresh claw and knuckle lobster meat from Nova Scotia! The sweetest part of the lobster, this meat is terrific to toss in a beautiful pasta dish for another posh dish for the ages...or try making a nice risotto to really impress!! A week consume in the fridge or you can freeze it for later...
In line with the poshness of the week, we have super frozen bluefin Chutoro! This is medium fatty part that melts in your mouth yet still has a nice amount of meatiness to it. Keep frozen til you are ready. You really should consume it within a week to ten days of when you get it and must follow the thawing instructions on our site to optimize the look and texture...
And what would a nice weekend like this be without a little bit of uni, right? Fresh sea urchin roe straight from California, this is the good stuff. 50g trays...
Faroe Island salmon is in. Sushi grade, of course. As are our Hokkaido scallops...
We have a million other things anymore so I won't go through the whole list. Just know that we have Boston mackerel and herring fillets too.
And for the pets, we are packing one pound bags of raw salmon trim. Not really for human consumption although you could. But really meant for your pets...
And a million other goodies...
One add on is a different type of caviar I wanted to add to the mix. A domestic one. This is Hackleback Caviar which has a nice small grain and blacker color. Of all the really good domestic caviar we produce here, this is considered to be the best of them all..
PEI mussels and litttleneck clams are the shellfish of the week. And with your favorite pasta? Best cheap meal ever! Love Cups are the oysters this week from Virginia. Nice and plump.
All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...
And don't forget your frozen shrimp and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...
I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...
Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
