Week of February 2, 2026 - Bryn Mawr Farmers Market Order Form

Hello everybody!!

You miss us?? We missed you...(remember that winter hours are 10am til Noon this Saturday).

Well, we didn't feel it here but that storm that hit down south hammered the coast all the way up to New England. Not many boats risking going out in the early part of the week. Add to that the Super Bowl coming up this weekend and the belief goes that fish isn't on the menu.

I have to disagree. We've seen this every year that fish is definitely on the menu for a Super bowl party. Hamachi loin made into a crudo. Mini crab cakes. Shrimp cocktails. Oysters. Clam chowdah. Hey, even grilled octopus tentacles, yeah? I mean, i love chicken wings like everybody else but put a kama and a chicken wing hanging off the edge of a cliff, and I can only save one? I am going for the kama....

Okay, so, fresh Faroe Island salmon is back this week! Always super happy about that. A nice poke bowl spread for the Super Bowl could really blow people away...Include some sushi grade Hokkaido scallops and, well....

We did get a small shot of Boston mackerel coming in this week which we are filleting and blast freezing. I love this stuff. Such a mild fish that is so satisfying to eat. Pan sear or roast in a nice hot oven (450F) with salt, pepper and olive oil sking side up (yes, skin side up) or broil to get a really crispy skin...

Also, some delish cod cheeks made it down to us.

We have butterflied branzini and rainbow trout. Chilean seabass and Black cod fillets. Lobster tails and rock shrimp perfect for a nice seafood tower with some oysters...

And a million other goodies...

One add on is a different type of caviar i wanted to add to the mix. A domestic one. This is Hackleback Caviar which has a nice small grain and blacker color. Of all the really good domestic caviar we produce here, this is considered to be the best of them all..

So have at it!!!

PEI mussels and littleneck clams are the shellfish of the week. And with organic fresh spinach linguini from Settantatre Pasta Co? Best cheap meal ever! Belles Du Jours are the oysters this week from PEI . Nice and plump.

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
