Week of July 21, 2025 - Fit/Ritt/Wash Sq Order Form
Hello everybody!!
I love weeks like this when we have a bit of a mish mash of stuff. Some weeks work out that way. There sometimes appears to be a rhythm to fish coming in and then it seems like it couldn't be more random. The sea is a magical place to me. Full of wonder..
Okay, let's get into it. First up is fresh, sushi grade albacore tuna from Canada! These little buggers have made their way down from way up north and come in reach of the fishers. A smaller tuna but so tasty and versatile. Also, cheaper due to the fact that many people just think of albacore as a tinned fish. This isn't that. Well, you could make it that if you poach it in oil, though. So much better than the can. But you can make poke bowls, sesame crust it or a make one fine puttanesca with it!
Also from off Canadian shores, we have blast frozen halibut fillet! We got a few loads of it and blast froze it for you all. The nice thing when this happens is that the supply was so high that price just collapsed. Therefore, we can sell it to you for $42 for two pounds. Much, much cheaper than you will see in any other market. Hey, that's we do..
Plus a small shot of halibut cheeks to have fun with. So tasty and interesting in texture. A real delicacy..
Another nice shot of lobster claw and knuckle meat this week. I know I keep saying that I don't know how long this will last but it is kind of week by week right now..Have at it!
From Maine, beautiful Boston mackerel fillet! A smaller mackerel with a nice mild flavor. We blast freeze and vac pack for you. Packed with flavor and Omega3s so really good for the brain..
Lots of branzini butterflied, head on Jumbo Argentine red shrimp, wild rock shrimp great for ceviches...
For special items, we have more crab emapanadas, fish meatballs in pistachio pesto sauce, and more fabulous lettuce from Sussex Fresh in Delaware! Summer Crisps this time!
Littleneck clams are the shellfish of the week. And with organic fresh spinach linguini from Settantatre Pasta Co? Best cheap meal ever! Summer Loves are the oysters this week from PEI, quite appropriately. Nice and plump.
See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...You'll never need to leave the house...
And don't forget your frozen shrimp, crab meat, and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...Coddy Canes are back too..
I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...
Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
