Week of May 26, 2025 - Fairmount/444 N 4th Order Form

Hello everybody!!

The nice thing about a holiday is the extra day off. The not so nice thing about it is that a 5 day work week gets crunched into 4 and I have no idea what day it is...ugh...Whatever..just makes the rollercoaster a wee bit faster...wahooooooo!!!

More on wahoo in abit but first, soft shells crabs! This is the second major run of the summer. Last time was North Carolina. This time is Maryland and New Jersey. Thgis may not be it for soft shells but my rule with it is that you gotta count it like it is. Most years, this is it for the summer in any quantity. So if you are into them, order early, order often. It's like voting. We clean them for you so they are ready to go. Remember, they are already in a state of fragility having shed their armor so the shelf life is two days in the fridge. However, they freeze great!

And to pop another heavyweight in the ring this week, fresh, sushi grade yellowfin tuna! This round comes from one of the best places for it in the Pacific Ocean, Fiji! They take care of the fish beautifully. Hey, their typical customers are from the Pac Rim where the scrunity for tuna is super high. They know their stuff. Poke bowls, baby!!!

Still hanging out on the Pacific side of things, we have more beautiful wahooooo!! Also know as Ono in its place of origin, Hawaii, this fish is one of my favorite on the grill and definitely my favorite fish taco fish. So damn good! Blast frozen and vac packed so easy peasy!

More Boston mackerel fillet this week! Super happy to see more fo this fish find consumers like you. We help with that, you know? Not on every resto's menu unfortunately, but at home it's a different story. Great stuff.

Plenty of gorgeous Faroe Island salmon and Hokkaido scallops. Both sushi grade.. so good thing to add to the table for a diverse poke bowl choice. Tuna, salmon, scallops..sound good, right? And the color action on that. Makes me salivate..

We have Black cod fillets, branzini butterflied, lobster tails, whole yellowtail snappers, wild Argentine Red head on shrimp (the big ones), wild rock shrimp.

PEI mussels are the shellfish of the week. And with organic fresh spinach linguini from Settantatre Pasta Co? Best cheap meal ever! Northern Belles are the oysters this week. Nice and plump.

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...You'll never need to leave the house...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp, crab meat, and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...Coddy Canes are back too..

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
