Week of September 21, 2026 - Bryn Mawr Farmers Market Order Form

Hello everybody!!

Okie doke. Here we are with a Nor'easter coming up the coast and all boats in like Forrest Gump after a hurricane. Safety is number one and something we often do not think of enough. Fishermen take risks every day to get food for us to eat. It's as old as human history. Although it is nice to get appreciation directed at us for bringing you the fish, it's the fishermen that deserve the real applause. They literally put their lives on the line for all of us..So, this weekend when you are having some fish, a little toast to the fishing communities around the world with thanks, yeah?

Speaking of bad weather, a boat that was supposed to bring tunas down to Boston for us to then get was diverted due to the Nor'easter. We won't have tuna for you guys after all. Sorry about that but safety came first here..

Last chance as fresh claw and knuckle lobster meat from Nova Scotia for a little bit! One more lobster roll for the road!!! We may see a little pop in November for some but this will definitely we the last week for now. One week in your fridge or it freezes well too! You can stock up!!

As you may be noticing, this a good time for fishing up in Canada, September and October are the peak seasons for many fish up there. So, more Greenland turbot fillets this week! So many of you come up to me to tell me how amazing the fish is after you've tried it for the first time. Toldja...

Also back in the mix to many people's delight, cooked wild peeled baby shrimp from Nova Scotia. Anyone who travelled to Eastern Canada or Scandinavia has see these sweet shrimp on menus everywhere. Great stuff. You can make shrimp salads with them, top up avacado toast or add to a nice broth..

Boston mackerel fillets are back in stock as are cod cheeks. More North sea fare..

Butterflied branzini, rainbow trout, Chilean seabass, Black cod fillets. Whole branzini are back too!

Amazing essential blend crab meat with the whole crab packed into one can. You get the sweet claw meat, the light special, the lump and jumbo lump. Makes the best crab cakes!

Tons of stuff, really. Everything to make your dreams come true...

We have PEI mussels and littleneck clams this week. Great thing to add to Settantatre Pasta Co fresh spinach linguini. Best cheap meal ever!!.Also, Fiddler's Cove are the oysters this week from Massachusetts... nice and big...good stuff..and briny..

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...
