Week of September 8, 2025 - Bryn Mawr Farmers Market Order Form

Hello everybody!!

I love fun weeks like this one. It's weird but I know that Labor Day just passed. However, I can't stop looking forward to the rest of the year now and all of the holidays coming our way. Gets me giddy. I never give up the chance to plan and prepare a feast with family and friends and I know a lot of you guys feel the same way. Just a heads up with Rosh Hashanah coming in a couple of weeks for those celebrating, we will have gefilte fish frozen logs from Raskins in Brooklyn. Easy to bake up at home and really good. Instructions are on the package. This is the weekend to grab them. Plus some Osetra caviar is up for grabs too!

In the meantime, time to start honing your cooking chops with some gorgeous fresh halibut fillet from Nova Scotia! Boats have been pouring in flooding the market with product and driving tyhe price down. That's what we like to see. Kind of like Jersey tomatoes in September. Cheap and beautiful! We love that! Have fun with it folks!

We also brought in a nice shot of butterflied Rainbow trout fillets for you all! I will try to keep them around on a regular basis best I can. So easy to have in your freezer and a nice combo punch with our butteflied branzini. Great meals, resto quality or better, actually, in my opinion.

I will also try to keep hamachi loins and kamas (the collars) around on a regular basis as well. There isn't tuna around all the time and, well, when you want sushi stuff, you want sushi stuff...Both up for grabs this week.

We have more Black cod fillets along with Boston mackerel fillets and whole cleaned sardines! For those looking for a nice sheen to the hair and a glistening skin...good stuff for the brain too...

We have Faroe Island salmon and Hokkaido scallops. Both fresh or blast frozen. Either way, they are sushi grade as well as best in class.

We also have hot smoked (kippered) salmon from El Camino and Canadian bacon to add to the mix! Plus shrimp and crab canneloni and swordfish meatballs in pistachio pesto cream sauce!

Littleneck clams and PEI mussels are the shellfish of the week. And with organic fresh spinach linguini from Settantatre Pasta Co? Best cheap meal ever! Pemaquid Selects are the oysters this week from Maine, quite appropriately. Nice and plump.

See what I mean?? All this good to stuff to choose from.... Life is good...

And don't forget your frozen shrimp and condiments and sauces...And dog treats for doggies...

I know, I know. Lots of words but, hey, consider the alternative...

Here is the order form. Bring a bag! Bring a bag! Bring a bag!
