HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!

Boy, did everyone have fun with bronzino or what?? I know that some of you are cringing at my spelling of bronzino. You are sitting there screaming, "It's branzino!!!!!". Well, people, the truth is it is both. Both are acceptable spellings for this fish. The French, by the way, call it 'Loup de Mer' or seawolf. 

Now, why did I choose the o instead of a when spelling it? As someone who was born in Montreal and learned how to spell in English as opposed to American English, I had to suffer through many years of ridicule for spelling words such colour or flavour or even pronouncing words like alumini-um instead of aluminum. Well, I've been forced to accept that reality that I should just adapt to the masses to which i have joined. So, I say color and flavor and drink soda out of an aluminum can now. Also, since most restaurants in Philly spell branzino with an o, well, I will spell it with an o. As i always like to say, it is better to fight for the peace than to fight to be right...the second fight has a wicked hangover....

Anyway, I feel like this is deja vu all over again..I feel like this is deja vu all over again..Wait...too weird...More tropical storms are causing severe disruptions in the Gulf of Mexico and Florida. Also, these systems are causing to waters up north our way to be quite vicious. Which means...I have no idea what we will do for special fish this week yet. I am hoping for another moment of ships breaking through the fog with fish we can have fun with. Maybe you are thinking that this is some kind of torture tactic on my part and that I, in fact, do know what the special fish will be but don't want to tell you to drive you crazy. Let me just say that if it is not a torture tactic, it doesn't mean you are not crazy. Think about it..

So I will leave you with these ramblings having said absolutely nothing of importance at all. That clickety-clack sound you hear in your head is simply my tap shoes kicking away as I try to deliver the state of seafood for the week at a point where i know nothing.
